Can movers disconnect and reconnect my home appliances, like a washer or dryer, during a move?
Yes, our residential movers are experienced in disconnecting and reconnecting most of the household appliances. You should, however, empty all the appliances before the movers come, so they can freely disconnect them and pack them if necessary. At the new location, just tell us where you want your appliances and we will install them on the spot.
What happens if there is no elevator in my apartment building (or it is out of order)?
Nothing, we proceed with the move, with or without an elevator. Our household movers are equipped with different tools and gear to move things, even heavy ones, up and down the stairs, without the risk of damaging them or the floors and surrounding walls.
Can I ride in the moving truck with the driver when you’re transporting my home items?
In our moving company, it is not a common practice to move our customers inside the moving trucks. We advise you to find transportation when you’re moving out of your home.
Is it possible to have my home packed and moved in a single day?
Yes, it is possible if the move is not too complicated or too extensive. This is usually the case with local moves, and we can pack your house or apartment in a single day (or the day before if you’re packing the entire big house inventory) and transport the loaded items on the same day of the move.
Can I hire movers to rearrange heavy furniture inside my home?
Sure, you can hire our home movers to help you move the heavy things around your home, starting from bulky furniture pieces to heavy appliances. Just tell us where you’re planning to move them, and we’ll use furniture sliders, dollies, protective blankets, and padding to ensure the safety of the things we’re moving, but also not to scratch or chip off floors and walls.
Are there things that you cannot relocate from my home?
We do not move some of the things that may be found in households, hazardous materials like gasoline, motor oils, antifreeze, propane gas, paints and paint thinners, fireworks, pesticides, cleaning chemicals, etc. We also do not move plants and pets, and we advise you to move any important and personal documents with you, like ID cards, credit cards, money, jewelry, etc. The company also doesn’t move prohibited items like weapons, ammunition or drugs.
What storage options do you provide for residential moves?
Our residential moving company can organize storage facilities for your household items when you must move them out of your current home but cannot place them inside your new home yet. The things can wait for you inside the storage areas for a long or short period, as long as you need them to. The storage areas are under surveillance 24/7, climate and humidity-controlled.
